Aged 12 to 18 and want to try rowing? Our one week Summer Camps for juniors are the perfect way to learn how to row or brush up your skills if you are a beginner.
Level 2 qualified British Rowing Coaches will train groups of up to 8 athletes. If the weather and river conditions are good we will be on the river and if not indoors.
Summer Camps 2017
Stratford-upon-Avon Boat Club is delighted to inform you that it will be running four Rowing Summer Camps over the holiday period for juniors aged 12 to 18. The aim of these camps beginners or those with limited rowing experience a taste of rowing in a safe environment with the emphasis on fun!
The camps will be run by Level 2 qualified British Rowing Coaches with a maximum of 8 athletes per coach. Rowing will be on the water when weather and river conditions allow and indoors otherwise. Course will run from 8am – 12pm Monday to Friday (inclusive).
Dates for 2017 are:
Camp A 31st July – 4th August FULLY BOOKED
Camp B 7th August – 11th August FULLY BOOKED
Camp C 14th August – 18th August FULLY BOOKED
Camp D 21st August – 25th August FULLY BOOKED
The cost for one week is £180 and you must be able to attend every day for a full week. Participants must be able to swim 50 metres in light clothing.
