Safety launches are essential to the operation of the club.
The Avon in Stratford can be very busy, particularly during the summer months and our launch drivers provide safety cover to juniors and seniors during the peak club hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings. They also accompany rowers on tours down river to Evesham and beyond.
We provide 8 hours on the water training for the ‘Royal Yacht Association Level 2’ motor launch qualification. The final exam is taken in Bristol.
