Message from the Regatta Committee:

Many thanks to all clubs, school’s & officials who took part in Stratford Regatta this year and to everyone for coping with what transpired to be a rather difficult and challenging day for us all.

We are currently undertaking a full review of all aspects of our pre-event planning and event management on the day and will be taking into account all negative and positive feedback received.

We will be in touch directly with all competing clubs and schools involved later this week.

In the meantime, results will be posted here just as soon as possible and  thank-you all again for supporting the event.

Important Note to all competitors and Clubs. Due to the large entry list this year, it’s very important we keep races on time.

Crews will not be called. Be at the Control Commission 20 minutes before the scheduled time of your race. Failure in this will mean you will be taken out of the race.

We are looking forward to welcoming competitors and their supporters to our event, which takes place in a picturesque setting on the River Avon, overlooked by the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

We hope that our schedule will offer plenty of scope for both young and not-so-young competitors and are particularly pleased to be offering events for adaptive rowers and beginners of various age categories on our shorter course once again this year.

We are also involved with British rowings “Row for Gold” designed to encourage people from all levels of rowing to take part and enjoy the fun!

The course

Full Course: 750 meters / 820 yards upstream

Short Course: 300 meters / 328 yards upstream

Car parking & trailers

As in previous years, please note that there is no free car parking anywhere on the Recreation Ground except for boat trailers. All towing vehicles must be unhitched and parked appropriately with a valid pay & display ticket.

However, we are extremely pleased once again this year, to be able to offer a limited number of passes for nearby, FREE PARKING ALL DAY, to each competing club.
