Hi all,
I hope you all enjoyed race day. I was very impressed by both the quality of rowing, the costumes & the general atmosphere. Everyone involved in running the event said how much they enjoyed it.

I have a few items of lost property if anyone wants to reply to me & say they've lost something. No cash I'm afraid.

Continuing rowing

I know several of you have asked about joining the club & learning to row (not in fancy dress). The club will be running a Learn to Row programme, the first step of which is an open session on Tues 25th Sept. There will be two sessions, 6-7pm and 7-8pm. The sessions will involve work on the erg (rowing machine for those not yet up to speed with the lingo), a video & a talk about how the Learn to Row package will work; what's involved, times, costs, etc.

This first session has no cost associated & all I need is a response if you want to come along for gauging numbers, and which session you wish to attend. Please forward to your crew members.

For those of you who do not want to take rowing further, thanks for taking part, please tell your friends as we'll be needing new competitors next year! Watch the website for details of next year's event.
