Stratford upon Avon Boat Club have started their Row for Gold Regatta celebrations by announcing that Zizzi restaurants will once again be sponsoring the event.
“We are delighted that Zizzi Restaurants are sponsoring our regatta again, especially as they have restaurants locally,” said Jo Wyles, Stratford Boat Club’s Regatta Secretary.
“Zizzi’s involvement with a local organisation fits well with Stratford Boat Club’s ethos.”
The 133-year old regatta will be held on Saturday 16th June this year, attracting crews from across the region for a celebration of rowing.
Racing is on the Town stretch of the River Avon, with beer and tea tents stationed on the banks to entertain the many visitors expected to attend.
