Masters’ Squad

Formerly known as ‘Veterans’ this section was recently renamed by British Rowing and is open to anyone between 27 and 80. You do not need to be a ‘Master of rowing’ – the section is also open to new or returning rowers. Some members come through from the Senior squad, others come back to rowing, or take it up, as other commitments ease off.

We have an active squad who get a coached outing most Sundays throughout the year and enter a selection of winter Heads and Summer regattas. For the purpose of competition, crews are organised by age and ability.

If you are new to rowing then you would first need to do our ‘Learn to Row’ course which is run each September. Keep any eye on our website for the date to be announced.

If you can row already then contact us and we will arrange for you to join us for a trial outing.
